Batteries
Use this window to view information about your system's installed batteries. Use the Alert Management tab to configure Alert Actions for Batteries Alerts.

Batteries
Batteries maintain the time and date when your system is turned off. More importantly, the battery saves the system's BIOS setup configuration, which allows the system to efficiently reboot.
Individual Battery Elements
| Status | Battery status is indicated by status icons, and
is related to the probe reading. indicates that an element is healthy (Good). indicates that an element has
a warning (predictive failure) condition and requires prompt attention. indicates that an element has
failed and requires immediate attention. indicates that the health status of an element
is unknown. |
| Probe Name | Displays the alphanumeric text that uniquely identifies a battery probe. |
| Reading | Displays the state of the battery element, and is one of three values: Good, Predictive Failure, Failed, Absent. |
Batteries Alerts
Use this window to configure the alerts that you want to take effect in case of a battery warning or critical/failure event.

Status Definitions For Battery
| Battery Probe Warning | The battery is operating below the recommended charge level. |
| Battery Probe Detects a Failure | The battery has failed. |
